What happened to touch sense? You remember the new rumble technology Sony was developing long before they announced the dual-shock 3. Did they scrap it or is it still in the works somewhere?

touch sense being that if you do something in game say get shot or go over a rumble strip, the corresponding part of the controller will rumble?
i though they had that already! thats one of the reason i wanted to buy the dualshock 3. anyone with a dualshock know if its just generic rumble or game sensitive?

Idk, since they called it the dualshock 3 and didn't really elaborate on the design or functions at all I assumed that the technology wasn't included.

ah well, might get one of those new nyko controllers. its released earlier then the dualshock 3 in us and uk, has rumble aswell as the original features, warms your hands and costs less.

on the subject of 3rd paty contollers, there (nyko) releasing a guitar that works with both rock band and guitar hero.
