component cable's will look pretty good. The VGA upgrade will look a little better. And of course HDMI is the top of the line because it is a digital signal rather than analog. If you want the best from your expensive new TV then you want to get the system with HDMI.

After buying the new tv, that's too much for me at the moment.
BTW, I'm not really a hardcore gamer, just would like to know if the image using the component cable is good when gaming on a big screen tv...
Dont they make the premium & core models with HDMI now?
I know in Australia they do, so it wouldnt cost you any more, just gotta look around & check if its got the HDMI in it...
