Im ripping games using UMDGen. I ripped a few games and they are too big! I dont know which files to remove/delete! Does anyone know which files I should delete? I already deleted the update, but what about the eboot and boot that is outside the update folder? Should I delete those?

use the delete dummy files button, and then compress it to cso. do not delete the eboot file. you delete that, you won't be able to launch the game.

ripkits are available for certain games. they should be at maxconsole.

best thing is to invest in a 4gig memory stick.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

If you have custom Firmware such as 3.52 M33 or higher, they offer you the ability to directly rip UMD's to your computer. Press the HOME or SELECT button when at the XMB. A transparent menu will pop up. Change the USB Mode: Memory Stick to USB Mode: UMD. Plug in your USB cable to computer and boom. Just copy and paste. Took me 15 minutes to rip Yu-Gi-Oh GX Tag Force 2 with this meathod (1.7GB), but it's worth the wait.

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

Where is the delete dummy files? Is it on UMDGen?

EDIT: I did the delete dummy files button and it said no dummy files found. So what other files should I delete? What are the music files and the cutscene files so I can delete them? Cause I saw the game for 256mb on a website but they took it off. Oh and the game is Syphon Filter Dark Mirror.
