how to stream .mkv movies?

I've tried using TVersity, as said in the sticky, and I still cant stream .mkv movies to my 360. It says format not supported. What's the best way to get these movies to work?

all help appreciated.

Don't use the codec pack which comes with TVersity. Use K Lite Mega.

k i have installed the codec. but now only some .mkv movies work. All my HD .mkv movies don't stream or work on TVersity. I get this error saying if I have the right directshow filter installed. anyone know how to fix this?

When installing that codec pack don't install Haali media splitter... for some reason it made my tversity cut connection between my xbox 360 and pc when playing .mkv files...

You can stream MKV players online through the DivX player now :)
