Where to store AVI video files on xbox

hey guys, im wanting to watch movies from my xbox hard drive. I have a few avi movies on my computer and can ftp them to my xbox, just dont know where to store them to watch them on the hard drive? if anyone could help me it would be great cheers

Thats where I put mine and when I go into XBMC and choose them it only plays the audio, btw they are MPEG-4. Please help.

edit- i've not found a format (of AVI) yet that won't play in XBMC, i'm running the version of XBMC that comes with AID 4.10 Installer Deluxe

I'm sorry, I'll make sure it doesn't happen again. But what do you mean you haven't found a format OF Avi that doesn't work on XBMC. Are ther different versions of AVI ? and what format does the video have to be to work ?

Plays everything..except some encoded x264 and can have trouble with asf containers too. If they don't play it's usually because the index is messed up ;)
