Hi

I currently have iXtreme 1.4 12x and I want to flash it with the 8x one.
So my question is:
Is it correct that all I have to do is copy my drive key to the new firmware and flash it with mtkflash w /m /sata? I've read the Textbook tutorial but it just seems to complicate things.
I found a tutorial on how to upgrade a ms28 here: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=630366

Is this basically all I need to do?

Yes. Inject your key into the new firmware. Then you can just flash over top of the old firmware.
