Okay...I bought a used psp a while back. it's version is 3.10. i've tried to download and run the sony upgrade and it can't run it so i'm assuming it has some type of custom upgrade. so can anyone help me upgrade to the newest upgrade so i'm not kept so far back?

Check ur firmware first. Here is the instuctions.

1.In order to check what "Firmware" you're running, youll need to scroll all the way to the left in the XMB. this is where you should be at this point
2. Now, scroll down till you see System Settings. Click on it with the X button
3. Scroll down again till you see System Information and click it with the X button. now youll be able to see the basic info about your psp, mac address, the software version (firmware)and the psp's name.

if it is a CFW (Custom Firmware) you can go to dark-alex.org to download the new frimwares

dude..it's version is 3.10 and it's not customized. i'm in the process. i need to know how to make a magic stick. and a picture of a pandora battery would help to see if i did it correctly.
