HELP on installing 3.80m33

Help Please. I have a slim psp running 3.71m33-4, i have just downloaded the 3.80m33 update and the official sony 3.80 EBOOT. I put the UPDATE folder in my PSP/GAME directory then inside that i put the official sony EBOOT renamed 380.PBP, i followed the instructions to the T and i try and run it and get the message Verifying 3.80PBP.....Cannot open file (0*80010002). HELP ME PLEASE!!!! Thanks in advance

You have put the offcial e boot into the Update folder? so you have 2 files in the update folder.

PsP#1 : 2.01>3.71M33-4>3.80 M33-5
PsP#2 (Slim) : 3.80>3.90M33-2 All hail the UPMS Stck

yes but i renamed it 380.PBP like i was asked so in the folder i have 380.PBP, u235.prx and EBOOT

Yeah, i got it updated, still dont know why it did not work when I did it manually, anyway hope it works for u.

It Worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks man. Where i was going wrong was renaming the official eboot 380.PBP like it said in dark alex's read me instead you just name it 380. Thanks again.

nice one worked a treat on ma PSP too.

Can you tell me if this would work on a older PSP with no firmware updated/Mod's

Just doing this ?
