I cant find much on why 380 is better than 371m33-4. Can we do custom cintros with 3.80m33-2, custom gameboots etc. All the cool stuff with the xmb. I actually just want a custom cintro and gameboot. If 3.80m33-2 will let me, it would be worth upgrading. If not I dont know what I would be gaining.

Thanks, I wouldn't use it. I guess I'll just stick to 3.71m33-4. Maybe someone will make custom cintros possible.

The only new feature is the radio, but we already had that in homebrew. It also comes with a few new background screens when you play music. The new update ability lets you update your PSP via WiFi without the risk of upgrading to official Firmware. The NID's changed, so everything will take a little readjustment to make everything work perfectly again. D_A really did a good job on it and it took him (and his team) some time to create it. I like being at the absolute latest custom Firmware, because the quicker you try it, the more you can learn from it. Nothing is more fun than experimenting with electronics, unknown code, and the huge risk of FUBARing your PSP. lol.

Hold up! You can't just say something is better without backing it up with, at the very least, you're version of an explanation. In terms of "better", 3.80 M33-2 has more features such as Internet Radio, Custom Firmware Updates via WiFi, added backgrounds for the Media Player. In terms of stability, not only have I been running my 3.80 M33 PSP-2001 for a day without any corruption, data loss, or locking up, but I've been experimenting with the flash files and hex editing my of ID Storage Keys. I have yet to see my PSP crash, lock-up, or otherwise disprove its stability. AND WHAT!!!
Sry, happy went away ... but now the happy's back! lol

sitcdude, now I'm talking about cintros(when you first power up), not game boots. 3.71m33-4 can do custom gameboots. If your saying 3.80 can also do custom cintros that makes it worth the upgrade. Please clarify. If its yes on the cintros, what programs did you use to make your cintros. Thanks, adown
