Funny thing happened to me when I dumped my nand a couple of days ago. It would seem that, when I removed my Pandora out of my PSP while still being plug into the wall, I somehow managed to "kill" the battery.

As a result, now I have a Pandora that refuses to charge 50% of the time. When the PSP is connected to the AC adapter, the amber light appears for 2 secs, and then disappears until I directly remove/replace the battery a few times. After doing so, it finally charges.

My PSP is not at fault since it can recharge the normal battery that I have.

Here are my questions:

Does my battery still work AS A Pandora Battery?

I've heard that shorting your battery will fix the non-charging problem; however, will it mess up Pandora functionality?

My PSP is right now on 3.80M33-2. I've heard that Corey OS Battery Tool, UPMS and Hell Cats do not work with the new CFW. Can I still be able to create a Jigkick with other applications?

Download UPMS. Run it. Choose option 2, replace your EEPROM with the original serial, or (as no one does) if it didn't back it up, just go to turn into normal battery. After it's successful, turn it off. Unplug the AC Adapter, take out any UMD's, memory stick, and battery. Wait a second and push the on/off switch up and hold it there for at least 10 seconds. This is called flushing your PSP. Now put only the battery back in. Play the PSP until the battery dies completely. Once it dies, try turning it back on again and again until it can't even get into Recovery Mode. Now it's really dead. Now, connect the AC Adapter and let it charge (WHILE THE PSP IS OFF) for at least 3 hours. You want it to fully charge, so if the orange light doesn't go off until 4 hours, so be it. Now the battery should be working perfectly.

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

Thanks for the help. Going to try that later today. Quick question; Why flush the PSP?
