okay, so here is my problem...I createda pandora battery on my phat psp that was already modded. I ended up making a magic memory stick and a pandoras battery....so managed to successfully flash my phat psp to 3.71 from 3.40 (even though this wasnt my original intention).

I want to flash my slim psp, but when i put in the pandora battery with the memory stick in already, nothing happens, just a black screen....

another thing, I am not sure how to make my pandora phat battery normal again, when i run the battery creater from the menu, it says could not be run...if it helps, i used the total newbie installer...

please, any help would be appreciated!!!!!!

I think my problem is that, i didnt backup my nand before doing pandoras....when i start up, im presented with 3 options:

1. press x to downgrade using ms0:/UPDATE.PBP
2. press O to backup nand to ms0:/nand-dump.bin
3. press [] to restore nand from ms0:/nand-dump.bin

the thing is, when i choose option 3, i get this screen:

1. press X to restore nand without id storage.
2. L+R+start+select to restore nand with idstorage (only if dump is of your nand!)

option 1 says "cannot open file."

then the psp turns off....is my batter currently in pandora?

im confused at this point...

nand flash is only for one psp. using it on another will cause permanent damage. it's also risky creating a nand backup.

you need to use the universal unbricker v3 memory stick to get 3.71 m33-2 on the psp slim. original magic memory DOES NOT work on the slim.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .
