how can you tell when your laser on a 360 is dying mine plays originals but gives a lot of dirty disc errors and game freezing on back ups...where is the best place to purchase ...and are they all compatable with each other thanks in advance.

replaced my lens on a sammy drive 360. bought it for 20 bucks on ebay shipped. mine still read originals good but wouldnt read backups unless they were burned at 2.4 and gave me dirty disk errors on anything else. now everything works great ;)

have sorta the same issue, replaced the laser, will read origonals perfectly, has problems with burnt ones, i think its becuase i dont have the rails at the same place as they were before the laser change as i failed to note the hight of them before i took them out. so now i have to spend hours on end adjusting them.
