backup tutorial - non dvd swap or download methods

Do you know of a tutorial on backing up games that does not involve just downloading them, cd swapping or buying a particular burner? I've searched everywhere.

I did read the topic on how to back games up by downloading them. I saw the upatched games and patched games info, which is not what I'm talking about.

This would be a rental situation and the game being in my 360. How to get that game from the 360 to my pc. (ftp via crossover using Quix like xbox 1)

Use a Samsung Kreon drive (I have 163A) to rip the game to your PC with Schtrom or Xbox Creator. So you know, talking about copying games you don't own or downloading them isn;t allowed at this forum. We all make backups of games we own.

Of course I only back up my own games.. I only said rented because I have one that my 4 year old son got a hold of and it's scratched all to hell.. so I was going to rent the same game I have that got messed up and make my backup copy.

Any other methods? I actually should just ask:
What are all the different ways of backing up your 360 games?
