SEMI BRICKED NEED SERIOUS HELP!

HI EVERYONE
I RECENTLY FOUND OUT MY WII WAS SEMI BRICKED WHEN I TRIED TO CHANGE THE SENSOR BAR SETTINGS. I WAS SAD TO SEE THAT THE MENU DID NOT SHOW UP BUT SOMETHING ABOUT TRYING TO ACCESS A URL. I WAS READING OTHER FORUMS AND I FOUND OUT MY WII HAS BEEN SEMIBRICKED. I FOLLOWED THE FORUMS INSTRUCTIONS BY UPDATING MY WII TO 1.9G BETA. I ALSO ALLOWED SUPER MARIO GALAXY TO RUN THE UPDATE. SO NOW, I CAN PLAY THE GAME BUT I STILL CANNOT ACCESS MY SETTINGS. PLEASE HELP!!! THANKS

sorry i didnt know about that rule. well anyways, according to the forum, super mario galaxy was suppose to unbrick my wii was it not? so why didnt it?
