had drnffffffd7 issue trying to update to 3.8m33 from 3.71m33

to fix this issue i used this guide:

because the keychanger thingi would not be able to fix it good enough for me to install 3.8m33. i would get the drnffffffd7. well now im at 2.71 and have my key5 unpatched. what should i do to get to 3.8 m33?

also is there a way to do it with the battery because i have it with the option to install 3.71m33 or 3.71 direct. can i modify it to install 3.8m33 directly?

that was pain in the butt that i couldnt update i found that i had unpatch to key 0x0005

why do you went back to 2.71

you can use keycleaner by chilly willy
thats what i used to unpatch key 0x0005
to upgrade to 3.80m33

unpatching a ta-082 should brick if your using CFW or 1.5!

did urs or was urs not ta-082?

i finally did it. went to 2.71 OFW and using HEND i unpatched it and then upgraded to 3.5m33 then up to 3.8m33.

but i would still like to know if i could have just unpatched the key in CFW?

YES mine is TA-082
but i had a custom IPL

nope i had to use the installer cause something is wrong either my memory stick it says open error (write) so i had to use i am not a noob
