i wanna hook my playstaion 3 up to a moniter but i dont no how
there a vga connection and dvi, does anyone no what i should do

You will need an adaptor to swap the conectors over. Iv had a quick look on google and i there seem to be a couple of adaptors out there, although i can only find them from the US, so you're looking at about $89.

Heres one example of the type of thing you'll need:
Component-to-DVI-converter

Sccrkid45,this http://www.x2vga.com/product in my opinion is one of the best i own one but never used it(tried it though)as i got a HD TV.You can have two gaming consoles(Component Lead red green blue) and a PC connected to it.
I could post a picture of mine if you want.
