ok this is my first D2CKey install. i'm reasonably well experienced at soldering, fitted most ps2 mods in my time.

install went well(wired Neoasic method).
now on switching on the machine drive works with both original and backup but wont read either.
i have checked all connections and all are sound, no bridges.

i have a PAL machine and will only play PAL originals/backups so what jumper settings do i need to make if any and do i need to connect "L" wire.

i have tried with "L" wire connected and disconnected and still the same "cannot read disk, refer to manual blah blah blah..."

is there anywhere in particular i should be looking to sort this problem?

i have blue and red LEDs on the D2CKey that work with different disks inserted. does this mean that the install is good/bad?

a few qustions there, just hope someone can help :)
