I've been having 3.52 M33-4 and had no problem playing cso/iso games. Just upgraded from 3.52 M33-4 to 3.80 M33-4 and now I can't play ISO games anymore. I still can play CSO games though. Please help. Many thanks.

Access the recovery mode, go to "Advanced -> Advanced configuration" and disable everything in there ^_^
Then go back to the menu of your recovery mode and then go to "Configuration" and in -UMD mode-, put it to "m33 driver" ^_^
3.80m33 has some problems with "sony np9660" >_>
Try it and juz see if it helps :)
*To access recovery mode, completely shut down your PSP and then hold the R button and start your PSP*

I've already written how to access it ^_^
First, completely shut down your PSP ^_^
Then hold the "R" button (i.e the right trigger) and switch on your PSP to access the recovery mode ^_^

larrylje and acidy, I followed your instructions carefully, but it still didn't work. First I'd like thank you all for your help. Now I remember what I did wrong. After upgrading to 3.80 M33-4, I reformatted the MS without backing up the files created when upgrading. Somehow, I still could play some games, not just CSO but also ISO. There are several games that I could not play still. Is there a way to re-upgrade my PSP to 3.80 M33 so that I can re-create the upgrading files or get backup files from someoneelse? Again, thanks a million.

So far you can't re-flash 3.80 M33 as it uses Sony's Official Updater. Unless you have a Pandora's Battery or Despertar del Cementerio Version 4.
I have flash0 files for 3.80 M33-5 w/ 1.50 kernel.
Which PSP do you have?(Fat/Slim)
And why do you need backup files of 3.80 M33?

Firstly I suggest you upgrade to 3.80 M33-5(just use network update if you're on 3.80 M33 and above)
Try using Pandora's Battery to go down to 1.50 and then...
Upgrade to 3.52 M33-4 then 3.80 M33-5

Thank you so much for responding to my problem. I've upgraded to 3.80 M33-5 and still can't play those games I've mentioned. I have a PSP slim. I followed instructions to upgrade my PSP several times and never had any problem, but this time. I followed instructions very well, but have no idea what flash0 and Pandora Battery are? I thought I need those files on the PSP when I upgraded to 3.80 in order for the PSP to work. Any ideas are certainly helpful. Again, thank you so much for your help.

You might be having this problem because your iso copies are bad. Try making another copy and if that doesn't help, use a different program.

turn on your psp. wait until everything loads. Then press the select button. Go down to the umd mode and switch it to "M33 drive" or something similar to that, I don't remember exactly, but it has "m33" in it. Now download a game. Just google it, we can't give you the exact place. Now connect your psp to the computer and in the root of the memory stick (the first page) you will see folder called "PSP". Open it up and you should have a folder called "ISO" there, if you don't then create on *all capital letters*. Put the game in there. Disconnect the psp from the computer and go into game memorystick and you will see the game there. I myself am waiting for pandora battery in the mail, it should come today, but you know USPS, they are pretty slow in terms of updating their website. Good Luck.

To put an ISO on you're PSP follow these instructions:
Connect you're PSP to the computer.
Open you're PSP drive.
Create an ISO folder in the root of you're Memory Stick.
The root of you're Memory Stick is something like this but you only need an ISO and PSP folder.

Place you're CSO and ISO game there.
