Dunno if this is a problem that others have had a problem with but, i was playing cod4 and suddenly my screen screwed up, pink and green patches all over the screen, the audio is fine, so im guessing it has something to do with the yellow port on my cable.
I changed tv and game and no luck.
It starts off fine but after a few minute the green and pink kick in....any help would be much appreciated.

Its not the cable more than likely, does it only do it ever so often? If so that will keep on happing until oneday you start it up then blam red ring or no ring in just locked up.Thats what mine did.it didnt even give a red ring until like the 3rd time I tried to reboot it.Id prob try to get that coffin sent,so when it happens you will be that mucj closer getting it replaced.

Also if its doing it from start up to shut down id say get new cable, but seem how its in the middle of a game sounds more like a internal issue,I believe you call xbox support for the coffin, and they will warranty it if its preowned long as you have some info on the person you got it from or if it was never regersterd I think. Some other people would be able to help you on that I never returned mine, I just bought another one.As I voided my own warranty.

You should be able to replace your used 360 with another used console with the replacement warranty, please tell me you bought the replacement?? I had the manager at ebgames go to the back 3 times because the 360 cases were too scratched up for my liking, little did he know that i was only doing this because i kept getting launch day consoles and i eventually would have to do the red ring fix, finally after the third time i ended up with a 360 pro with HDMI,lol!!

Think about it does it make sence in trying to replace the cable? If you wiggle the cable does it get worse or straighting up?If it does get better then, try a buddies cables, if not wrap it in a blanket for 30 min running take it back in get a new one.

this is my plan, lend my mates cable see if it does any thing, if not take it back and demand a new console, quicker then sending it to microsoft. Wrapping it in a blanket? doesnt that only work with the three red lights? its not onto that phase yet, although ive been otld further up in this thread that i can be expecting it soon.

The towel I was jokeing about, was saying it to excel the falure that is going to happen that way when you take it back there is no question about it being junk.30 min running all coverd up is sure to over cook it.To fix it you only let it bake for 10 min running. Its only a temp fix tho.
