I had a professional guy put my mod chip and now its making a weird noise when the dvd's are spinning, like if its hitting something, I called the guy who did it he told me that is normal, that the dvd is spinning faster but somehow I don't believe it, has anyone suffered with the same problem

Yeah the modder is lieing to you. Take it back and get it fixed.

He might have messed something up on the installation. Take it back and tell him to fix it.

No I'm not saying you said it, i'm just wondering, and thinking that the dvd motor is not open, so what is making that noise? the fans? I can take it back but only in a few days

Well more than likely it's just the install. A bad install can cause a drive to go completely dead or just malfunction.

Tried changing the drive speed to 3x using the wiikey cinfig disk and it did make less noise but its still there

Take the wii back and tell him to do the f@ckin job properly, there is NO reason for the wii to make anymore noise than it originally did.
