Hey. ive tried nearly every pandora battery installer so in the end i cut the pin. now when i put the battery in to my psp the green light comes on automatically but then the screen goes black and nothing happens. The MS LED AND Wi-Fi LED do not light up. and the only way for me to start up the psp is through ac adapter.

Ive tried that and it still dont work. When i ran OS tool for the pandora battery i changed the setting like it said on a guide and then when i quit it goes back to the XMB then in the guide it tells you to restart you psp then a menu should come up. but the menu didn't come up and the screen turned black now its stuck on the black screen. It only works if i put the AC adapter in and then put the battery in it goes back to the XMB.

I have the exact problem, did you mean you got stuck in this step:
Now take out the Battery from the PSP then reinsert it back in (make sure the AC Adapter is not plugged into the PSP).. The Universal menu should come up letting you reinstall 3.71 M33 to the PSP SLIM. ???

i can boot it in recovery mode if i hv my ac adaptor on it, this time i retry all the steps without my battery installed, but instead with the ac adaptor, but i think something is not going to work out soon >.<

omg, i was able to install the custom firmware back and now i can boot into XMB, however, up to the step where i had to go to Game Menu Memory Stick and select OS Pandora Battery Tool. I was unable to to go back to the serial of my original battery! clearly its because i had formatted my memory stick once more from retrying all the steps... is there anyway to convert my battery back to normal? or do i need to buy another battery to work? the current mode is "Service mode battery"

Using that option may work and may not work. There could be side effects of using the option and having the Tool generate a fake serial#.

Side effects can include:

Battery not charging,
Battery life level doesn't read properly or no battery life level at all.
Battery turning off speraticly.
Battery not turning on at all.

The reason you backup the eeprom.bin is so you know for sure your writing the correct serial# back to the Battery.

Since you hardmodded the Battery you can not restore the Battery to normal using the OS Battery Tool. You will need to undo the Hardmod to get it back to normal mode.

If your still getting the black screen then create the Magic memory Stick again. You may have to try to use a different memory Stick. Also if your running Vista as an OS try using XP to run the easy installer.
