why is the wii wireless, im new to it and havent read into it either, can you play other people on line at say bowling?

Wireless as in wireless online? You can use your router which your Wii can connect to. Or you can buy a USB WiFi Connector.

Wii Sports is not online enabled so you cannot. Most games that have a blue circle on the cover that says "WiFi" are online and can be played with other people- well most of them.
