just had a brand new laser fitted due to loads of read errors on my backups and now its even worse hardley any of them work now ..very intermittent fault tried one game 5or6 times and then it played stopped it and tried it again and now it dont...any ideas i am losing a lot of faith with this 360 now...my old xbox was and still is flawles after a few years

and you wonder why people don't respond? Maybe it's because they don't know or maybe it's because they're tired of answering questions when a SIMPLE google search could've showed you plenty of things to try. Have you adjusted the POT? Why didn't you just buy a new drive and flash the old key to the new drive. Ever thought it may NOT be only the laser?

turned out to be a duff laser had another new one put in and every thing works fine ..it just goes to show you cannot assume new parts are in perfect working order escpecialey if they are for the xbox
