I am trying to use DGIndex to demux the audio stream from a VOB. The stream is AC3, and I wish to decode to WAV (44.1). I open the VOB and select Demux Audio Only, and the file is processed, but I cannot find the out put after completion!
Within the source folder, the DGIndex directory, even if I search my entire PC for the file, I find nothing.
Ideas?
I've never used this app before, so I'm sure I'm missing something.

Thanks.

I think after selecting 'Audio' >'Decode AC3 to wav', you click 'File' and 'Save project' if you want the wav and the index file or 'Save project and Demux Video' to get everything.
It save the files to the same folder that the VOB came from.

I've tried this, and all that is created is a d2v file. Do I do something with this?

Try clicking on Select Tracks on the audio menu. See how many tracks are listed and which one is checked.

Demux audio only isn't intended for decoding to WAV, which is exactly what the version I use tells me if I try it. Make sure you have version 1.4.9 (ie the most recent) you can find it on Donald Graft's website

Just to be clear, you are selecting VTS_01_1.VOB not VTS_01_0.VOB

Version is 1.4.9.
I am selecting VTS_01_1.VOB.

So, if I choose "Save project and Demux video" will it do what I want?

Demux video shouldn't matter. Exactly which settings do you have selected on the Audio menu?

In case you missed this from my first response. Try clicking on Select Tracks on the audio menu. See how many tracks are listed and which one is checked.

Perhaps I am being too literal in interpreting the post.
It looks like to me that 'dcfrate' wants the audio in WAV format, and to do that it has to be selected under the 'Audio' 'Output Method' 'Decode AC3 track to WAV' and the next step is to 'Save Project' or 'Save project and Demux Video', else if 'Demux audio only' is selected an error message is generated.

That sounds correct. When you use this option a single audio stream needs to be selected in the Select Track(s) dialog. Otherwise you'll get another error
