my xbox is new from christmas and it started to scratch my games, igot really angry so i rang M$ and they said it had to come in, i know all they are going to do is put the rubber pads in the disc drive but i heard that M$ only do RROD for free i assume i have warranty as i havent opened it and i have only had it since christmas, i could do the repair myself but rather get it done for free
so is it for free or not

Microsoft gives you a three year warranty for RROD and a one year warranty for other things. How do THEY know when you bought it. You could always lie. You could also just tell them you are getting a RROD.
They have the scratching problem fixed now because my latest xbox doesn't scratch disks anymore.

they told me that i have to put my 360 in a neutral box and they gave me a referance number or returns number or something.... where the hell am i supposed to send it? i got no email or any other phone call i live in the uk and i couldnt understand him as he was definatly asian... will i get a coffin or something?

They are giving you bullshit. Microsoft should send out a box themselves so you can send it in. That's how it works in the US and there is no reason they should give you worse customer support just because you live across the pond. Demand a box from them and they should also pay for shipping!

also he said he was gonna register my box i tried look at the status of my repair and my device was not there... god i hate M$

i have the new halo 3 edition console they better send me back that console repaired or i will go apes**t on em i have even marked individual parts of the console so i can tell its mine and that they havent swindled me from my investment

they read somewhere in a manual or something that when a console or accesory been repaired enters microsofts repair dept then they are not liable for any lost submissions
basically in law that means

lol, no offense to america but they dont exactly have the best repuation in the world just take the president for example. he started the whole iraq war for no reason.... they didnt come over and bomb america did they like bin laden did... any way america is full of conspiracys and theorys. no other country in the world is like that

Well Microsoft is a multi-national corporation. Also I don't really like what I'm hearing about America. Sure our President is a fucking retard but that doesn't mean you distrust all Americans.

now now calm down scooter. we arent talking about a religion we are talking about a nation. and as a nation we americans are some of the most impatient, gluttonous, impolite, irrational group of people on the planet. dont get me wrong though... i love this country because it gives me the ability to be all of those things; i just dont like the fact that amercians demand to be treated better than other nations people only because they are americans.

Dude, please tell us how you have your 360 as it is/was obviously wrong. Do you play it for 10 hours straight with the 360 in a closed cabinet? I'm surprised they would fix yours so many times, it's because of the way you are using it and/or how you have the 360 kept.

I keep it on a open table, laying down with plenty of air circulating around it. The most I've probably played on it is about 4-5 hours when Halo 3 came out and I had friends over.
