Help, Magic Memory Stick won't install 3.71 M33

OK I followed this instructions http://www.upms-project.com/modules.php?...tutoriaux&did=2 I get to the point where I have to press X to install 3.71 M33 it just sitting there.

I hit X and it did nothing for 10 minutes. I didn't see any memory stick activity.

yes i know

does this menu show up when you put your magic stick and pandora battery

press x to install 3.71m33
press o to install original 3.71
press [] to dump the nand
press L+R+start+home to restore nand dump phsically (dangerous!)

so you press x and nothing happens

It's like the buttons don't respond. I know what what's up with it. I'm using a silver Daxter pack slim. At least that's what I'm trying to downgrade. I made the Pandora battery and magic memory stick with a phat PSP on 3.71 m33-4.

you cant downgrade a slim to 1.50 it will brick but anyways

put your magic stick and then you battery
wait until both wifi/memory card light stop flashing

press X and it should work

Well it finally worked! I played with using a couple of different memory sticks and ironically the 1st one I've been mainly using worked. It loaded out with an options screen I never got before. I'm just glad this is over as I've been banging me head for a couple of hours on this. Thanks for hanging in there with me.
