Help needed installing 3.80 M33

Help needed installing 3.80 M33

Im on 3.71 M33-2 and I have a phat PSP. I put all the files in the correct places and go Game>MS> and run the updater thing. it says:

Verifying 3.80.PBP... OK
Verifying u235.prx... OK

Press X to start the update, R to exit.

So i click X and then it says

Starting sce updater... wait

then it goes black for a while then theres an error:

The system configuration of this PSP tm system does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be completed. Contact technical support for assistance. (DRNFFFFFFCD)

So I have to press O to go back and then it restarts PSP. I used my pandora's battery and memory stick on my PSP but still same error.

Please help appreciated.

your keys are corrupted
remember that patch that pandora did to downgrade

well thats the problem

unpatch but if you do it it will brick

well thats the problem

unpatch but if you do it it will brick

Unpatching Key 5 will not brick the PSP. It needs to be unpatched to go to 3.80 M33. I have done it on numerous other PSP's. When getting that error I run Chilly Willy's Key Cleaner which you can get HERE. Then I unpatch key 5 with it. Then I run the update again andit updates perfectly fine.

This effects TA-82 or TA-86 motherboards that needed to be patched to downgrade.

There are other numerous threads on other sites that state key 5 needs to be unpatched as well.

OK so i run Chilly Willy's Key Cleaner. Do I analyze the keys or dump them?

but how come on chilly willy key cleaner it says if you upatch it it will brick TA-082/86 with out a custom ipl
