First you have an image, someone uses a flash grenade and the screen goes white for abit and u see the image before the whiteness, then the image re-formes to reality after that. Is that right?

Sounds like a problem with your TV. I'm not sure if it's supposed to happen, but on my LCD, if I'm in the dark for a while or it's not doing much work, and then I go to something insanely bright very quickly, it will click a little bit. I think it's just the LCD warming up or something.

i think that's happened to me before. Are you guys sure its not just what happens when you get stunned? theres a difference between getting flashed and getting stunned. i never pay that close attention.

from my experience, when you get flashed directly the screen, the WHOLE SCREEN goes COMPLETELY WHITE. cannot see anything for a few secs. Stunned is different where your disoriented and start to see blurred/multiple images. kind of like being drunk i guess.
@WETBACK
your wording contradicts what you are saying here. first you said the screen flashes white, but later you say it "blackouts," which is it? white = normal. blackout assuming you mean your screen goes all black = not normal. UNLESS you got killed during the flashbang process.

I have the same issue, i own a plasma. It seems to occur whenver something real loud occurs in the game. I thought it was a connection issue or something. Its happens many other time than just flash grenades. I don't know what causes it though, I do know it ticks me off.
