You can't downgrade it like this ^_^
But you can downgrade from 3.80 to 1.50 and put a custom firmware ^_^
Post back if you want a guide ^_^

unless its a slim psp then he can't downgrade to 1.50

Yes ^_^
Any PSP (Either slim or classic) can be applied to custom firmware ^_^
But PSP classic has the advantage of 1.50 kernel :)
neways, HERE is the guide to downgrade your PSP if you 'do not' have "another" PSP with "custom" firmware ^_^

Technicaly you can downgrade like that :)
If you have a pandora's battery+memory stick and you run the V3 by DAX, you have the option of going to official 3.71. So then the history would be 3.80 > 3.71 lol.
But I think this guy may think that he can upgrade from 3.71 Offical to the CFW. That may be why he wants to, little does he know there is 3.80 m33. Even littler does he know that he can't do this without a pandora's battery!

There is no use downgrading from 3.80 to 3.71 ^_^
Well, I do know about the new pandoras menu and all ^_^
But I've never tried them as I downgraded my PSP with the OLD pandoras battery & magic memory stick in which it directly downgrades the PSP to 1.50 ^_^
