My MS has still old firmware, I got Pandora battery already, so Im just replacing the files on my MS to get Despertar del Cementerio 4 so I can flash 3.80 from the ground up 'cuz I got 2 cousins with PSP Slim with OFW 3.60. I wanna install them CFW 3.80 without the upgrade route. New Despertar del Cementerio 4 is out today, new guide would be appreciated.

this is by no means a complete "guide" but it's working for me.

download, if you haven't already:

Pandora Installer for 3.xx
Despertar del Cementerio V4
150 OFW
340 OFW
380 OFW

copy "pan3xx" to PSP/GAME, exit usb and then run "Pandora Installer for 3.xx -R3-"

select "Press R+X To Repartition and Format!" and then press "L + R + X" to carry out the repartition.

once completed press X to turn off your psp.

boot it up again and copy "pan3xx" aswell as "despertar_cementerio" to PSP/GAME/(create these folders), and then copy the OFWs to the root of your MS as
150.PBP, UPDATE.PBP(this is a copy of the 150.PBP but renamed), 340.PBP and 380.PBP.

run "Pandora Installer for 3.xx -R3-" again and select "X to install 1.50 firmware, containing Pandora, to the memory stick" and wait for it to install the firmware to the MS.

now press "L trigger + X to install msipl.bin to the memory stick."

once done, it will exit to the XMB.

now select "Despertar del Cementero" and press X.

and that's about it, i think.

edit: i take no credit, i mean blame if this funks up your psp.

I also want a guide to be able to make one but I'm not sure if that'd work properly.

My current MMS installs 3.71M33-2. When I downloaded Despertar del Cementero v4 from dark-alex.org it gives you the "despertar_cementerio" folder. When you make a MMS with Despertar del Cementero v3 (3.71M33-2) though, not only do you have to copy the "despertar_cementerio" and "pan3xx" into PSP/Game, but there 2 other folders called "UPDATE" and "ospbt". The UPDATE folder contains the 1.50-2 kernel update so I'm guessing you'd just replace it with the 3.80M33 1.50 kernal update but what's the "ospbt" folder contain? Does it contain the M33 updates? Like in Despertar del Cementero v3 it installs 3.71M33-2 and in the Despertar del Cementero v4 readme it says it installs 3.80M33-5 so does the "ospbt" files need to be replaced with the M33-5 update for 3.80M33? Or are these updates already in the "despertar_cementerio" folders?

Noone probably understand what the hell I'm talking about but hopefully someone does and if you do can you let me know...

Edit: Oh and also is that pan3xx link you gave an updated version that works on 3.80M33? I heard about how it got patched or something and didn't work and that's why I haven't upgraded to 3.80M33 yet but if that's an updated version that will work on 3.80M33 I might as well update.

one would use the "ospbt" app to make a pandora's battery, nothing to do with m33 updates.

the pan3xx link is to the "Pandora Installer 3.xx Revision 3" for 3.71 cfw, if you want to try this out on a 3.80 cfw download the "Pandora Installer for 3.xx Revision 3a".

you can get a more detailed guide with pictures and all that here.

Thanks that guide helps. Except when making Despertar del Cementerio 3 and as you also said in your short guide before running Despertar del Cementerio I had to select "X to install 1.50 firmware, containing Pandora, to the memory stick" in the Hellcat installer but he seems to miss this in the guide. Is it not needed or something?

And also are the steps 4-7 needed because I never read about doing this for when making Despertar del Cementerio 3..

1)To start DCv4, insert JiKick battery, and DCv3 Magic Stick. It should auto-boot.

2)Once the menu boots, press X to install 3.80 M33. Let DCv4 work. When it is finished, press X to shutdown PSP.

3)If you have a normal battery, and normal MS, put them in now. If not, take out battery, and Magic Stick, and then insert the charger.

4)Hold R and power on. You should boot into recovery. Go down to Advanced, and press X. From there, go to Format flash1 and reset settings, and press X.

5)Once the PSP reboots, you will get a BSOD error. Press 0 to fix this. The PSP will reboot, but it will take a long time.

6)The PSP will eventually reboot, and you will have to reset your settings. Set them, and you will go to the XMB.

7)If you are a Phat user, download the 1.50 Kernel Addon, and the 1.50 UPDATE This is optional.

If we make and use this universal unbricker v4 do we also need the 3.80 popsloader or is it built in to despertar del cementerio?
