it is not VID, it is VIA, and that is probably the cheapest solution, go on ebay, search "VIA 6421 PCI SATA CARD", there only like 15 bucks shipped, that card is compatible with all flashable drives.

So far any iXtreme fw for the Benq will only work with a VIA or NFORCE chip set. Your best bet is to just buy a pci sata card which uses a VIA or NFORCE chip set. They can be found for $10 ~ $30. Just make sure is has the right chip set and also non-RAID.
