i currently have a PAL wii, and am getting a dc2key fitted, IM currently visiting china, adn bought my wii with with me. Will i be able to play games from other regions with it?? and what firmware version do i need to be running, im currently running 2.1E, how will i be able to update, will it need to be from a pal game, as oncwe chip is installed cant update from internet

You need to be very careful with import games. If any of them ever ask you for an update, you must decline, or you are at risk of a bricked Wii. If you are using the backup of the import game, you may need to use brickblocker or other programs to prevent the worst from happening. Also you can access the internet with a modchip, as it uses stealth and can't be detected, but I am not sure about updating from other regions and so forth. If you can, try and get it to the highest PAL update that you can, and check the internet to see if the import game will work.
