Hi to everybody,

I searched all the available forums and tried to figure out how to install a cfw to my psp but i'm really stucked. I bought a Slim PSP that has an official 3.71 fw 2 weeks ago, but still don't know what to do ...

After reading so many stuff I ordered a Datel Slim Tool battery, charged it to 100% and used Total Newbie Installer to create a magic stick...

Now (I hope) I have an ms with 3 folders in root (kd, PSP and registry) as well as msipl.bin and 371.PBP... I have no idea what are registry and kd folders are for and in PSP folder i have Game folder and in Game folder I have 3 more folders, despertar_cementerio (i guess it has the version 2, size matches), pandora_battery and pandora_battery% folder...

folder structure is like this
root -
---|kd (folder)
---|PSP (folder)
---|GAME (folder)
------|despertar_cementerio (folder)
------|pandora_battery (folder)
------|pandora_battery% (folder)
---|registry (folder)
---|371.PBP (22.5 MB (23,647,653 bytes)) (file)
---|msipl.bin (236 KB (241,664 bytes)) (file)

now my questions,
* do I need all these folders or do I have to delete some of them?
* is this the right structure for an magic ms?
* as i understood it's best to get a copy of nand before installing something new, is it made by pressing [] (i assume it's a square) before pressing X to install cfw, and do i have to make a copy that nand file from ms to my comp before doing anything?
* do I need to know anything else

sorry for my questions but I'm really confused, and i promise I will make a guide of my installation if it's ok

(PSP slim ofw 3.71, datel slim tool battery, sony memory stick pro duo 2 gb)

thanks for any help.

why do you think the files are there

because you need them

now try on your psp slim

put memory card in first

and then the datel tool

and if you wifi and memory card flash you have yourself a pandoras battery

remeber you cant see anything on the slim

download version 3

yo!

wrong. psp slim does not support 1.50 homebrew. anything in 3.xx kernel works.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .
