Xbox 360/PC guitar on ps2?

For those who don't know, the xbox 360 and the PC guitar hero controllers are one and the same. I was wondering would they be able to be used on the ps2?
Either by plugging them into the ps2's usb ports or by using a converter.

Also if there is a convert available can someone point me to one. I can't find one myself
