I have recently bought a nexstar 3 enclosure for the original 60gb drive that came with the ps3 i put it in and formatted to fat32 however when i put it in my ps3 it doesn't recognize it. i also have put the folders in it (ie VIDEO, MUSIC) any ideas to get it to work?

So it wont show up at all as a usb device under the xmb? Does it function properly when plugged into a PC?

that is correct it does not show up as a usb device. and yes it works on my pc fine.
