Unable to watch video w/ 3.52 M33-4

I am running 3.52 M33-4 and continue to have problems viewing video files on it. I took a suggestion from a response to my other post and tried using 3gp to convert the video file instead of PSPVideo 9. I even followed the guide from the forum.

Every files works on my OEM firmware PSP but not my PSP with 3.52 M33-4 . Is there a setting on the PSP that I am missing?

No matter what I use to transcode the video it always gives me the file currupt error.

Yes, I used your guide. I tried two file type for the source file. I tried .avi and .xvid.

No, neither worked on the homebrew PSP. Only on the OEM firmware PSP.

try it again on cf but instead of putting it into the mp_root folder put it into the video folder

I tried both folders and it failed on both.

I am starting to think that something is up with the firmware. But then again being a newbie I could be way off base.

Thanks for the help. Here are the steps that I have done. I have done the same thing with both files types (.avi & .xvid)

Process 1
Convert files w/ PSPVideo 9
Try files in Root directory (file corrupt)
Try files in Video directory (file corrupt)

Process 2
Convert files x/ 3gp
Try files in Root directory (file corrupt)
Try files in Video directory (file corrupt)

I have tried both a rip from DVD as well as a downloaded .xvid file TV show. Converted files still work on OEM FW. I noticed your update to your guide.
