Hi all,

I'm returning my slim PSP (with 3.80m33-5 cfw) to the store tomorrow for another one (as it has a stuck red pixel and the .mp4 RGB-flashing colors fix doesn't work after a few hours).

I don't have access to any other homebrew capable cfw-phat/slim PSP (I paid to get my slim upgraded the first time, no cash for another upgrade), just wondering if it would be possible for me to buy another slim/phat battery (which would be best?) and use my cfw-slim PSP to make a pandora's battery out of it, then make a magic memory stick using DCv4 which I will be able to use to upgrade the slim PSP I get after exchanging the one I have.

However, I see 4 problems:

- I heard that Sony has blocked the PSP in firmware 3.80 from writing the .ipl file to memory stick, so how else would I be able to create a magic memory stick using DCv4 on my slim PSP running 3.80m33-5?

- Can I use a phat psp battery on my slim PSP to pandorize it using cory149's tool?

- I'm running Windows Vista. Would this only be a problem with c+d mspformat?

- I suppose the slim PSP that I will get as an exchange will be loaded with 3.80 firmware, will this be a problem to upgrade using a pandora and DCv4-created magic-stick?

Any help/advice much appreciated, thanks in advance.:)

the pandora method will work on any psp

u need universal unbricker v4 ( can b found on DA's page )

and just look the rest up
