Hey guys,
So I just got a Datel Tool 3.6v 1800mAh shipped to me. It charges up normally but when I remove it and re-insert it into the slim PSP nothing happens, no green light, no MS blink, nothing. Im thinking the non slim Datel Tool isnt compatible with the slim PSP. Anyone managed to get it working? Anything I could do (besides trading it for a slim datel tool?)

Thanks

Hi mate, i have a slim and used the fat datel battery with TOTALNewbieasyinstaller on my 1GB memory stick and it worked fine. If your psp is off and u insert the tool battery do you not get the green power light on the right hand side?

I get absolutelly no light on it. Do I need a specific version of the MC to get it working? I already used a simple installer to make mine pandoraed.
I can charge the battery, but absolutelly nothing happens when I put it on (no light, no memory card access, no auto-on).

Does it charge properly, I have heard many people saying that when they bought the Datel Tool, it was faulty and wouldn't charge.

Also, what memory stick are you using? Is it real or fake - is it magic gate supported?

BTW, are you putting the memory stick in first and then the datel tool battery?

It should work because I used a fat datel tool on my PSP slim and it worked perfectly.

My memory stick is a Sandisk 4gb, fully supported by the PSP (I have some saves on it, etc).
It charges, but when inserted on the PSP nothing happens. I have tried both with the MS first and MS second, and I have read the power light is supposed to turn on when the battery is inserted, even if there's no card.
In my case, nothing happens. The battery is probably faulty and I will get it replaced...
