i had just gotten my battery open and i was looking for the ICO4 and i thought it was under the aluminum packaging so i cut it open (idiotic). so i didnt see any ico4 all i saw was the li-ion battery and sadly enough i punctured it with the scissors when i cut of the metal material.

so can i just put electrical tape over it or do i need a new battery
