Hello, I'm just new to PSP and I got alot of question I need to ask, because I'm going to mod it.
Please kindly help me, I don't want to get any trouble on my 1st and only one PSP. Thank You
QUESTIONS:
Question from this threads http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/553863
1) During creating Pandora Battery will cause PSP brick or any other problem??
2) At the end of the thread, there is a note said that it will get error, why will it cause error?
3) Is it necessary to have a spare Memory Stick and battery and a PSP with Custom Firmware or a 1.5 PSP?
4) If all the steps I followed are the same as the threads, 100% that the mod will success?
My Own Question
1) How will PSP get brick?
2) If I'm using Pandora Battery, will my psp get brick by any reason? If it does, what is the reason?
3) If I'm using Pandora Battery, I can get to any firmware version that I like without brick the PSP?
Hope anyone who read this can answer the question.. THANK YOU!!!!!

i recommend u using this guide
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313
1. No, it wont, if u follow the steps
2. Not all batterys work for pandora.
3. U dont need a spare MS, however u need an another psp with CFW. U can also softmod the battery, if u dont have a CFW psp.
4. I dont trust this guide, so i cant guarantee
1. When u are chaing themes, messing with flash drives, upgrading and downgrading.
2. If it does brick, use the pandora again
3. Yes
That is alot of questions

The official sony battery works fine ^_^
Also, no need to be worried if your brick your PSP cuz Pandora can be used to "unbrick" a PSP too ^_^

More question....
1) By softmod and hardmod, which is more risk? Example: Brick PSP.. etc
2) Is there any softmod method without using extra battery, extra PSP, because I watch some videos on YouTube that they doesn't need any of those.
3) This is my battery, is this type of battery suitable for Pandorize? Download the pictures from this link http://two.xthost.info/cloudstrife/Pictures.zip

1. No risk man :)
But softmod is much better than hardmod :D
One wrong step in hardmod may screw your battery >_>
And it is more difficult to revert your battery in hardmod as compared to softmod ^_^
2. Well, you don't need "another battery" as you can revert it to normal after making it a pandora battery, but you need "another PSP" to make the pandora battery and the PSP must have "Custom or 1.50" firmware ^_^

1. I'm not sure man :(
Well, to be honest, this is the 1st time I've seen this type of battery o_O
Do, you have a PSP slim or classic ??? O_o
2. There is a huge dirrefence b/w the pandora battery and normal battery :)
When you make a normal battery into a pandora battery and insert the magic memory stick, you'll get a different menu which allows you to downgrade your PSP, install a custom firmware etc.
In a normal battery, you cannot downgrade your PSP >_>

PSP Slim. It's actually battery from the limited edition Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- PSP. So, do u think that this battery can be pandorized? Or anyone else who know'bout this battery? The model no is PSP-S110. I wonder whether is it the battery that mrgooey mentioned that's not working: New Sony 110 model battery (Sony made it pandora proof)

that is a Sony slim battery. ALL PSP batteries are now patched... Don't use a Slim battery... . U need to get a fat battery ... or at least the datel tool battery. Some confirm it works when soft mod (Try not to, i dont trust the source). U have to get the Made in china battery too.

1. Nothing will happen :)
Pandora will juz not get installed :P
*Although I still recommend you don't even try to do it*
*Cuz well, pandora writes it's own eeprom to the battery*
2. The same way that you put slim battery in a slim PSP :)
*But I think you cannot put the cover back*
3. Not necessarily :P

Well, in simple words, it makes the PSP boot in another way ^_^
Eeprom is very important for any battery and if that's corrupted, then hte battery will not work and you'll have to buy a new one >_>
*No harm to your PSP though*
But still, why waste money for a new battery >_>

QUESTION AGAIN~~ SORRY~~~ RESEARCHING ~~
1) How will PSP boot if eeprom is corrupted?
2) So if I have a Pandora Battery will the PSP get brick?
3) So I just get an idea, but doesn't whether it works or not, if I put a Pandora Battery that I get from anyone to my PSP, and then I upgrade to Custom Firmware and then I use back my Original Battery, so is this method going to work?

1. Your PSP can be booted from the AC adapter ^_^
You cannot boot your PSP from that battery though >_>
2. No way >_>
Infact the pandora battery is used to do the exact opposite thing ^_^
3. Yeah, you can ^_^
That's what most people do ^_^
