Ello,

I recently got my Wii modded while away on a trip (some 400 miles away). It works fine, but i'd like to know what type of chip i've got in there and I can't get back in touch with the guy who did the work.

How can I tell what's in there, and what firmware version it's currently at? A friend of the guy said he suspects it's a Wiikey. How can I find out more?

A visual would help.

As for the firmwire im not sure.

either open it and look or try updating the "wiikey" with a firmware update see if it takes it
