Hi,
I need some help on this.
My sp2 plays cds after adjusting the button that moves the lens closer to the disk.
But it does not play dvd,or games.
Any suggestions on wht might be wrong?
I cleaned it,but not understanding why it would play a homemade cd,but not a game.

So if you adjusted the white cog, then you must have been having issues before this.
If you were having problems with DVD's either backups or originals then you probably need a new laser.
You can try adjusting it some more, and also the Pots, but you will eventually end up still buying a new laser.
