Hey there,
I am just looking for some input on a problem I have with my wii. It is already taken apart , so I could verify the problem. The Wii loads and plays gamecube discs just fine, but when a Wii game is put in, it doesn't even spin the disc, and comes up with an error and says to 'eject the disc and restart the console'. Has anyone seen this before? Anyone know how to fix it? It is a non-modded, never opened before today, with a gc2-dms drive, if that makes a difference.

Hi

Could you be a bit more specific on the message that it says when you insert a disc? Also does it make any unusual noises?

Otherwise I would consider taking this to Nintendo, and requesting a repair.
