I have installed a wiikey and cannot get the firmware disk to work.Its shows it as a gamecube disk in the menu but cannot access it with the reset method I dont have a GC controller so cannot do it that way .Can someone give me help please.

Which firmwire are you using?

If you trying to use the config disc, you're pretty much going to need that controller.

You can buy a used one for not that much.

I believe it's about $15.

The config disc does work with the reset funtcion.

Thanks for the quick reply.Im using firmware v1.2 the one that doesnt require a gamecube controller but when i press the reset the screen goes blank then shows wii in lots of boxes and then goes to wii menu .I cant see that it has toggeled to anything.
Any more suggestions please ???
