Im having some trouble figuring out how to use impalerpopstation. I extracted both of my game disc's to my computer(chrono cross) I then used simple popstation GUI to create the eboots. I then go to impaler, click on search next to game title and search for chrono cross i see disc 1/2 but after that im pretty clueless on what to do. Any ideas?

Why are you using both simple popstation, and impalerpsx? Are you trying to create a multi-disc game as well?

Dude, chill out and have some patience :D

OK, so you want to create a multi-disc game of Chrono Cross. I've tried using ImpalerPSX for Lunar Silver Star Story (2 discs) and it had some problems, not sure what it was though. Have you tried using popstation_md? I've found that to work easier and have less problems than ImpalerPSX (though it uses popstation_md, it's probably my PC), and it's easy once you do it once or twice.

If you still want to use ImpalerPSX, then I'm pretty sure that's the only program you'll need. It's got a browser for .ISO files (game rips/extracted) and you just have to type your game name into the Game Title field and click Search to find the right one. After you select a title (only choose one), then browse for any ICON0, PIC1 etc. images that you want and then click the Create! button. That should be it, everything should work.

Oh yeah, here's a site to customise the EBOOT with pics and sounds:

one problem with impaler:

when you load en EBOOT, it asks you to convert to iso. once you do that, and continue with making your multidisc eboot, it will tell you that the source and destination files are the same.

to fix this, you must move the newly created ISO files out of the \ExecFiles\ directory, and start over. this time load those new ISOs, and it will work as normal. when done, delete the multiple isos, and your new full-game EBOOT will be in the \Results\ directory.

as far as i know, the new firmwares dont require a keys.bin

if you run into a problem, you can always just copy the keys.bin over from another game
