How can I play NTSC-US games on my PAL Wii?

Hey, I am a massive Smash Bros. Fan and I really want to be playing Brawl by March 9th. The only problem is that I live on a island called England in Europe where Nintendo seems to give us months of delays =P

Can someone help me mod my Wii so I can play PAL and NTSC-US games on it?

If there is a sticky with a tut for this please can someone post a link?

even if you do get a mod installed there is no guarantee it will work#

not all ntsc / jap games work on pal machines

IT WILL BE SUPPOSED YOU WILL USE THE APP THAT CHANGES FORM NTSC IN FORM PAL. THIS THEY IS WiiRegionFree (RegionFrii1.21) READ IT!!!!!!
CAREFUL IN ANY CASE .... SO "Read Game information in the ISO file"
LOOK ALSO AND THE PROGRAMM WiiBrickBlocker TO PROTECT YOUR WII FOR DISABLE UPDATES: Patch your import games which contain an update in order to remove it, and so you don't risk too brick your console.

1. Download your Game(s). It can be PAL, USA or Jap. Your choise

2. Open the game with WinRar.

3.First you have to use "Regionfrii". RegionFrii is used to patch Wii ISOs in an attempt to make them playable on foreign region consoles.

4.After this you use WiiBrickBlocker.

5. No you use a burning sofware ImgBurn OR Nero [img][/img]and burn it. I use DVD - R.

You could also mod it with the WiiKey and enable Region Overdrive so you can play both PAL and NTSC

with some games it dont matter what u patch it with - some just dont work with different region wiis

Can I play a NTSC game on a PAL modded WII without changing the region? I'm from a NTSC using country Phillipines but I got my Wii from my sister who lives in Australia which uses PAL.

I reiterate what's already been posted:

You maybe can do that if you have a wiikey and you turn on region override from the config disc, but it depends on the game. Some will work and some will not.

If your Modchip has region override then you do not have to patch the region with a region patching program.

If the Modchip dosen't have region over ride then you will need to patch it with a region patching program.

The compatibility list above is the same for region patching programs and Modchips that offer region override.

If there is a game on the list that says it is not region compatible then that game will not work when region patching with a patching program or work with a Modchip that has region override.
