First I get a 3.80 m33 compatable theme. I go into my recovery menu, select advanced, and then toggle usb flash0. I copy all the files there, even the hidden, and system files to a folder on my computer. I then copy the theme files over, which I believe are in the resorce and module folders, and then I exit. I'm not going to just go ahead and do this without going over as many details as I can find online. But to those that are familer with this, is this right?

First of all make a back-up of your folders. Then drag the font folder over and replace "yes to all" then drag the vsh folder and do the same.

Just curious what theme are you flashing

I have backed up everything in my flash0 folder. Originally I couldn't see the module folder until I went to my folder options and selected (show hidden files and folders) and unchecked the box to hide operating system files. After that some new files showed up on my PSP, and then I copied all of them to a folder on my desktop. This is the first theme I have tried to install. It's the Surreal 3.80 theme from consolespot.net, there are only a few good 3.80 ones so far.

This theme doesn't seem to have a font or vsh folder, but I assume from your post there are themes with them? Also for the resorce and module folders, do I copy the folders over, or just the files inside them?

Thanks.

what a plain theme. have you looked at the SchmEdia SchEnter theme HERE

You can still change the background. But for now i'm gonna download your theme and check out the folders. back in five.

Yep just drag and drop the 2 folders into the vsh folder and when it prompts click yes to all.

Also do you have slim or fat and do you have pandoras

My mistake, the vsh folder contains the folders I'm to overight with the new theme. And yes, I have looked at the SchmEdia SchEnter theme, it looks great but I don't like how tiny and off to the side the menus are.

For my first attempt, I'd say it went pretty good, I deleted the dic folder, tried the theme, but there were some bugs with the text overlapping a little, so I went back and tried the one you mentioned, it was nice, but again, it wasn't what I was looking for, so I put it back to normal, I'll just wait until something cooler comes out, but at least I know how to do it now. Thanks.
