with 3.80 M33 I can go to the UMD in my PSP via USB. could I say, delete the file on an unwanted game, and then take another CSO or ISO file on my computer an copy it onto the UMD?

no. the psp umd laser is a read only laser. it's not a writer.

oh, well I guess that would be a real dumb idea... heh..heh... frik. It seemed like a good idea for a while. :\ could I make copies of games from the UMD though? or do I need like a UMD ripper?

UMD laser is read only AND the UMD discs are not rewriteable...

you CAN rip your UMDs using either daxumddumper or the built in UMD ripper in the latest cfw
