Hi all,

This prob sound idiotic but my gf got the psp for me and she has no idea what mod was being done to the console.

All I know is i can play download games (iso/cso) ok. I tried converting psx games to EBOOT and it works fine as well.

For now, i also know i am using 3.71 m33-2, not sure about kernel 1.5 n etc etc etc.

I am thinking of upgrading 3.71 m33-2 to higher becos now my cwcheat doesnt work and i was told it needs higher firmware). However, my gf told me the seller specifically advise NOT to do so as that will disable all the console ability to play download games.

Anyone can shed some light? if so, does anyone know which cwcheat is compatible with 3.71 m33-2?

Thanks in advance.

3.71m33-2 is a custom psp u can go to a higher firmware 3.80m33-5 this will not stop u playing homebrew games don't mind the seller

CWCheat 0.2.1

Three important notes, also stated on the changelog:
1) If you use 3.80m33 it?s suggested to update to 3.80m33-2 and use the 360- / MS_ROOT builds
2) set bus at 166 if you want the dynamic clocker to be able to go up to 333
3) if you use a language file update it as the old ones won?t be compatible anymore

If i upgrade to higher firmware and it screw up my psp, ie bricked it or i cant play anymore homebrew games, is there anyway i can revert to this current firmware?

so can i take my psp is mod the same way as how urs/the community here is being mod?
