Hey guys,
I just purchased my xbox 360 and tore this badboy apart i have a benq drive and from what i read i should beable to flash it with an nforce motherboard. I made a usb flash drive and put dosflash16 on it
i then used the following command
Dosflash r 3800 a0 1 4 A:\orig.bin 0
then it will ask me if i want to resend command i hit Y
turn on xbox 360 for 5 seconds
turn off for 5 and turn back on
it continues to stick at that screen i cant seem to get it to dump

I also tried the IPREP tool and am running into the same problem at the same place

Any ideas guys?

Thanks for you help in advance

Did you try to flash it in windows using dos flash 32?I have the same Board as you in it worked perfect. There is a guide to flashing it that way at xbox scene. Also here is a bunch of great guides to anything to do with the 360.

I used the method at robinhoodsplaygrounds w/my benq and nforce motherboard w/the 590 northbridge. I had an issue first getting my usb device recognized, but then i was getting hung up when trying to actually read the drive off of the dos prompt. I then switched the SATA port and it worked fine. Just try different ports on your mobo and also make sure in iprep you selected the right controller for your sata i had to go under ide and there was an nforce option there.

I fashed my Samsung with using dosflash32 and a nforce4 mobo, by this tut and it worked great you dont need a USB stick if you can get this to work for you. It says you need the (Via SATA 6421 card) but i just use the onboard ports and it work with no probs. just make sure you know which port is you primary port # 1.
